- Assist in a Religious Education class
Caring Committee: Support UUCC members with meals, rides to doctor’s appointments, or other tasks in times of need. Contact Betts Kehne at email@example.com.
CLEER (Committee for Lake Elkhorn's Environmental Restoration): Participate in activities to support the restoration of our watersheds. Contact Elaine Pardoe
Community Blood Drives: sponsored by UUCC and held three times a year at OBIC. Donors must be 17 years of age or older, in good health, and weigh at least 110 lbs. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to find out when the next drive is scheduled and how you can help.
Moveable Feast: Second Sunday of each month, there is a collection of desserts for HIV-AIDS patients to be delivered with their meals to their home. Contact Jeri Wiggins or Cynthia MacDonald for details.
One World Coffeehouse: Contact the Coffeehouse Team
- Post flyers or add PR to online calendars
- Sell tickets during coffee hour between service once a month
- Make goodies to sell at a coffeehouse
- Help set up the stage or curtains before a performance (about 4pm)
- Sell tickets, food, or drinks at a coffeehouse
- Help take down the stage or curtains after a performance
- Volunteers can receive a reduction in ticket price!
Potlucks: Help set up or clean up for the In-Gathering potluck, Fellowship dinner, or the Annual Meeting. Contact Mirtha McGovern
Rainbow Welcoming Committee: Works to ensure that UUCC welcomes the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered (LGBT) community, and actively works to protect the civil and legal rights of LGBT people. Contact email@example.com for more information.
