Attorneys, (not necessarily immigration lawyers) with an active license to practice in any state are asked to attend training on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, 6:00 PM and will work pro bono on MLK Day. Lawyers are covered by Human Rights First Insurance, names will not appear on any documents.
Spanish language translators who are willing to volunteer on MLK Day are also invited to attend training on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 6:00 PM. Translators do not need to be court certified.
There is also a need for individuals willing to volunteer as babysitters, prepare lunch and assist with crowd management on MLK Day.
