Gingerbread Houses & Campfire S’mores
Whether you’re brand new or have been part of the community for years — you’re invited to join us Sunday, December 8 from 12 to 2PM at our Owen Brown Interfaith Center (OBIC) for graham cracker house decorating and campfire s’mores. Houses will be pre-assembled so that we can spend our time chatting and decorating with all kinds of colorful candy. Hosted by UUCC’s joyful gatherings group

Come join the Chalice Choir and soloists of UUCC’s Music Ministry in their annual December holiday music service on Sunday, December 15 at 10AM in sanctuary C. This service will explore the seasonal themes of Christmas and Winter, inspired by soul-stirring songs and spirituals from the Appalachian region of the United States.

Savor a spirited smorgasbord of favorite festive flavors at UUCC’s Holiday Treats & Sweets potluck on Sunday, December 15. ✨
Following the worship service, join us in Sanctuary B with a savory or sweet treat — an appetizer? a snack? a dessert? It’s your choice! Can’t bring anything? No worries. We hope you join us for holiday time together with food, fellowship, and friends.

The Joy of Giving — Round 3
Bring your gifts for The Joy Of Giving to OBIC on Sunday, December 15!
Many of you have experienced the joy of giving THE perfect gift to someone you care about. For three years, UUCC has made it possible for the students of Cradlerock Elementary to experience the joy of giving. This congregation has donated HUNDREDS of unwanted, unused items from your homes to Cradlerock Elementary’s Secret Shop, where they found new life as a treasured gift.
UUCC’s middle school and high school youth groups are collecting gifts on Sunday, December 15, 2024 to fill the shelves of Cradlerock’s Secret Shop again — and they need your contributions!

It’ll be here before you know it! This year, our Christmas pageant, 🎄Elf 🎁, will be directed by our very own Amelia Sorensen and we hope you join us for it on Sunday, December 22, at 10AM either in Sanctuary C or on Zoom.

Tending the Flame Workshop
Winter is long and dark, and just as it does with the plants and animals, it invites us each year to intentionally slow (way) down and practice the critical skills of rest, stillness, and listening; particularly within the inner world. Join staff member Sara Davidson on Sunday, December 22 at 11:30AM at OBIC to name and connect with the quiet truths and lessons we have lived and learned when we have honored our need to slow down and listen to our still inner voice.

Christmas Eve & Carols
We celebrate Christmas Eve with a service of readings and carols and candlelight. The service will begin at 7PM. Join us either in Sanctuary C or on Zoom.
