Each year, the congregation gathers for its Annual Meeting, which includes votes on the upcoming fiscal year’s budget and elected leadership positions.
This year’s meeting will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2026 starting at 6:30PM following the 5:30PM potluck and will be multi-platform: You may attend virtually on Zoom or attend in-person at the Owen Brown Interfaith Center.
All in our community are invited and encouraged to participate, although only eligible members are able to vote on business items during the meeting. Congregational Potluck
The Annual Meeting isn’t just about business! It’s a chance to gather with our congregational community over a meal and celebrate the commitment and contributions of congregants over the past year.
The pre-meeting congregational potluck will begin at 5:30PM before the meeting — all are welcome, including those not participating in and voting at the Annual Meeting. 🍰 Sign-Up to Help Out at Annual Meeting
We invite you to bring your own plates, cups, and utensils. We will have plates, cups, and utensils, and, in an effort to be more environmentally friendly, we encourage you to bring your own reusable dishes as you are able.
How will we vote?
NOT with PollEV! You do not have to pre-register or have an account to complete your ballot. Link will be provided at the Annual Meeting. Each UUCC member will use their giving number to confidentially certify their vote using a simple electronic ballot. Staff members Sara and Hannah will also have these numbers available for you at check-in on Sunday. There will also be Board members around to assist you.
If there are nominations from the floor, the nominee will have an opportunity to present a brief statement. In accordance with the Bylaws, “for motions from the floor, voting will be by voice vote or a show of hands or, upon request by at least 10% of the members present.”
As in years past, we will use a simple “yes-no-abstain” format for approving the slate of nominees, the bylaws revisions, and the proposed budget. We will be using ranked choice voting (RCV) for our ministerial search committee! This is an exciting opportunity to live deeper into our commitment to representation and inclusion. | Learn more about ranked choice voting here
