Do you know someone at UUCC who goes above and beyond in their service to our community? Would you like them to be recognized at the Annual Meeting on Sunday, June 1? We invite you all to send your nomination and for which award they are being nominated along with a brief description of why you feel they deserve the award, to Board member Steve Parr at sparr@comcast.net.
The Board is once again seeking nominations for the following awards:
🦸🏽♀️ UNSUNG HERO AWARD: The Unsung Hero Award is given to a member who works tirelessly in service of others without much fanfare. Often even close acquaintances are surprised to learn what an unsung hero has been up to!
🦴 BACKBONE AWARD: The Backbone Award is given to a member who might be described as a benevolent taskmaster. Usually identified by rolled-up sleeves and a blur of activity, this person’s work gives structure to UUCC in much the same way that a backbone supports the human body.
❤️ GENEROUS SOUL AWARD: The Generous Soul Award is given to a member who regularly seizes opportunities to effect positive change in the world through very tangible charitable efforts. The generous soul is a master at inspiring others to act by marshaling limited resources and leveraging them to achieve the greatest good.
🌟 BRIGHT FUTURE (YOUTH) AWARD: The Bright Future Award is given with beaming pride to a youthful member whose actions and achievements embody our hopes and dreams for a better world in the years to come.
🙌🏿 DREAM TEAM AWARD: (added 2020) The members of this team have accomplished amazing, important things because of their superb ability to work together. They dependably support each other and UUCC while doing good for UUCC and the greater community.
