Thursday, September 24: Scenic Bike Ride on the Northern Central Railroad Trail

Join UUCC’s Biking Group for our next bike ride on September 24! Newcomers welcome.

🚵‍♂️ Northern Central Railroad (NCR) Trail (Monkton, MD to Pennsylvania State Line): Meet up at 9:15AM at the Owen Brown Interfaith Center’s lower-level parking lot. Leave by 9:30AM sharp and return between 3 and 4PM. 🌧️ Rain date is Monday, September 28.

A part of Maryland’s Gunpowder Falls State Park on a converted railroad trail made of packed, crushed rock, and shaded with woods, farmland along the Gunpowder River.

There are three ride options. Start at Monkton Station (1820 Monkton Rd., Monkton MD), north to either:

• Gnome Hill RT (9 miles)
• Route 83 overpass RT (12.8 miles)
• Pennsylvania State Line RT (24 miles)
