The UUCC Board of Trustees met at OBIC on Tuesday (October 8) with all board members present. We got through our (packed) agenda, shared delicious cookies provided by Rev. Lisa, and worked, struggled, got serious, and laughed a lot.
Here are two highlights:
We learned more about the interim ministry start-up process, which is intended to bring to the surface, clarify, and articulate who we, UUCC, are, where we’ve come from, what we value, and what opportunities we have for growth. Look for small group meetings to begin roughly in January – the goal is for ALL to have a voice.
Another high point was a brainstorm about how the Board can better stay in touch with the congregation, the WHOLE congregation. We are excited about the months to come, when we try new ways of reaching out to YOU. We hope that you will take the opportunity to reach out to US. Come to see us after worship at the Board Corner in Sanctuary B, where we hope to have some fun building relationships.
