UUCC and CUMC congregants are teaming up to make our annual Owen Brown Community Halloween Party the biggest bash of the year. Our teens are already planning special activities like a haunted graveyard tour and a costume parade for all ages. We need YOUR help to bring other exciting games and activities to the party!
Would you, your family, or a small group you’re part of be able to contribute one activity booth at the event?
Maybe you could set up and manage a simple carnival game, like a bean bag toss. Or maybe you’d like to put together an activity station, like a themed craft or a photo booth. Perhaps you just really want to hand out candy – we need your help for that, too!

Please reach out to Jenny Afkinich (jafkinich [at] gmail.com), UUCC’s Halloween party point person, if you or your group would like to offer an event. We’re hoping to recruit around 10 activity stations between our two congregations. The party is scheduled for Sunday, October 29 from 6-8PM in the upper parking lot of OBIC.
With 100+ attendees in October 2022, the majority of whom were guests from the neighborhood, this Halloween party is an opportunity for our congregations to get to know our neighbors and move our ministries beyond the walls of OBIC. Will you join us as we serve our Owen Brown community together?
