Sunday Morning Happenings
This past Sunday morning, our guest in our children’s RE class was the amazing Ed Gaddy. Ed came to speak with our kids about the importance of healthy, sustainable eating. We were treated to a bountiful table of beautiful vegetables and Ed taught us how to prepare kale 🥬, onion 🧅, carrot 🥕, etc. Everyone particularly enjoyed learning how to strip the kale leaves from their stem and then massaging the leaves to make them more tender. Thank you, Ed, it was truly a joy to have you with us!

After our lesson from Ed, we headed outside to join congregants Trish Steinhilber and Jeanne Bolton in OBIC’s nourishing garden to plant some fall crops in our nourishing garden. We can’t wait to go back and harvest what we planted. Thank you to everyone who has made this garden a reality!
