SUNDAY MORNING LEARNING 🎶
This past Sunday, we welcomed UUCC member 🎸 Dave Lopes and his guitar 🎸 to our Religious Education classroom. Each of our kids was given their own instrument to play and Dave led us in a lively sing-a- along. We were thrilled to watch as everyone formed a connection with their instrument and how fully engaged they were throughout our time together. Thank you to Dave and his guitar for sharing time with us.
CANDY DONATIONS NEEDED 🎃
Our Middle School Youth Group is preparing to host the first ever 👻 Costume Parade 👻 at our annual Owen Brown Community Halloween Party, happening Sunday, Oct 29, 6 to 8pm. We are seeking donations of individually wrapped candy 🍬 to give out to the participants. If you are able to help, please feel free to bring your donation on Sunday morning and leave it in the box outside of staff member Kelli Danaker’s office. We hope you will help us make our first ever Costume Parade a success.
CALLING ALL YOUNG ACTORS, AGE 5-13 🎭
It’s Christmas Pageant time! This year, our Christmas pageant, 🚂 Polar Express 🚂, will be written and directed by our own Teaghan Verow McLaughlin. There are speaking and non-speaking parts available so we encourage everyone to be part of the show. The pageant will take place during the worship service on Sunday, December 24 at 10am. Rehearsal times are as follows:
- Sunday, November 19, 1 – 3pm
- Sunday, December 3, 1 – 3pm
- Sunday, December 10, 1 – 3pm
- Saturday, December 23, 10 – 1pm
