Blessing of the Backpacks
As our children prepare to head back to school, we hope that you will join us this Sunday, August 25 for a multigenerational service featuring our annual Blessing of the Backpacks. All kids are invited to bring their backpacks to service so that our congregation can fill it with blessings and good wishes for the year ahead! All backpacks will also be adorned with a special charm as a reminder of the congregational support that is always with you. Hope to see you there!
Calling All Perspectives!
If you are a religious education (RE) parent, volunteer, or stakeholder of any kind, or simply have an opinion to share, I invite you to join me (staff member Kelli Danaker) on Sunday, August 25 at 12pm to chat about all things. We will discuss the changes that have been made to our religious education program, speak about the challenges we face, and brainstorm new ideas. All are welcome to attend as we look toward the future at UUCC!
