In a joint venture with Kittamiquandi Community Church, the UU Congregation of Columbia is helping start a Howard County Protest/Rapid Response Choir to sing at the NO KINGS Protest 👑❌ on Saturday, March 28. and hopefully stay strong and sing at other events in the future. In preparation for this event there will be one practice session at the Owen Brown Interfaith Center and three practice sessions at Kittamaqundi Community Church. You do not need to attend all practices to join us March 28. Music will be taken from this free online songbook: 👉 rapidresponsechoir.org/songs. It’s helpful to review the music prior to rehearsals.
🎶 The songs we are going to sing are:
- Keep on Moving Forward
- Joy in Resistance
- We Rise
- This Joy
- Singing for Our Lives
- All you Fascists
- Carry this All
- Rich Man’s House
- Hold On
The practice at is in Sanctuary C at the Owen Brown Interfaith Center @ 6-6:45PM on Thursday, March 12 (led by Michael Adcock).
The practices at Kittamaqundi Church are in the Sanctuary at 5410 Leaf Treader Way, Columbia from 7-8:30PM on Thursday, March 12; Tuesday, March 17; Thursday, March 26.
