During any interim period, communication is one of the challenges that comes up most often—whether in staff meetings or casual conversations. We know that direct, intentional communication is key to any healthy organization. We also know that life is noisy, and it’s easy to get overwhelmed by information coming from all directions. It’s hard to sort through it all and figure out what really matters. There’s even a joke t-shirt for ministers that says, “It’s in the bulletin!”—kind of like the academic version, “It’s in the syllabus!”—because this challenge is just part of congregational life.

Currents is our new space for that—featuring reflections, deeper dives into worship themes, narrative updates from staff and others, as well as insights into our shared life at UUCC.
