We offer loving condolences to Stephanie Lyon, whose husband, Warren Charles Lyon, died on June 27, 2020, following a diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma in January of this year.
Warren was a chemical/nuclear engineer who thoughtfully and scrupulously analyzed and solved problems for more than 50 years at the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission, retiring at the age of 85. His engineering skills and problem-solving abilities carried over into his private life as he extensively remodeled the house he and Stephanie lived in for 37 years. He was president of their Community Association Board of Directors for 17 years.
In addition to Stephanie, Warren is survived by his children, Charles and Michelle, and stepson, Joshua. Warren had donated his body to the Maryland Anatomy Board many years ago.
A private celebration of Warren’s life will be held by immediate family at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the UUCC Endowment Fund, the Maryland Food Bank, or the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).
