Engagement Drive – Week Two

Engagement Drive – Week Two

This month we extend a congregation-wide invitation to practice being in community by trying new things at UUCC!

From September 22-October 20, we’re trying out UUCC’s first-ever engagement drive, which includes our Connect 4 Challenge. Grab a challenge card this Sunday, October 6 if you’re joining us in person and would like one.

The idea is simple: try 4 new things in 4 weeks. Then, after you try something new, you’re invited to visit our engagement drive table after service and get your challenge card stamped for telling us about your adventures trying new things.

There has been lots going on at UUCC so far this fall! If you attended the disability discussion panel, climate justice revival, Pride t-shirt decorating workshop, or other events this week, we hope you’ll get your stamps and tell your stories. We’ll be in lobby this Sunday, October 6. Stop on by to get your stamps; we’d love to hear those stories.

Connect four challenge ideas

We will hear more about the meaning of the engagement drive from UUCC congregant Kevin Mercer this Sunday during worship. In the meantime, everybody continues to be invited to upload photos and stories to our webpage that show what engagement means to you at UUCC. How does engagement build nurture your spirit? build your community? empower you to act for justice?
