Black Mental Health: From Survival to Sustainable Wellness

Registration for this “Black Mental Health: From Survival to Sustainable Wellness” training is open to all members of the African Diaspora, and is resented by the African Diaspora of Unitarian Universalist of Maryland (ADUUM) & Black Lives Activists of Columbia, MD (BLAC) in conjunction with the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Columbia (UUCC). ADUUM and BLAC are committed to build, support, and nourish people of the African Diaspora in Columbia and throughout Maryland.

About Our Speaker: Brandon Jones

Brandon Jones is a psychotherapist, professor, consultant. He specializations in adverse childhood experiences (aces), historical and intergenerational trauma, social/emotional intelligence (eq), leadership, and youth justice. Brandon holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Minnesota, a Masters in Psychology from Metropolitan State University, and a Masters in Psychotherapy from Adler Graduate School. Mr. Jones is also a 2013 Bush Foundation Leadership Fellow. He is a professor of both graduate and undergraduate students.
