On Tuesday, December 5, from 7 to 8:30pm, People Acting Together in Howard (also known as PATH) will join forces with sister organizations in Maryland — including Unitarian Universalists from other congregations — to tell our leaders that we want the billions of dollars in funding from the Infrastructure Investment Act to be used to address climate change, to provide low-cost housing, and to develop healthy environments.
Please plan to attend the December 5th action, which will be held at Good Hope Union United Methodist Church in Silver Spring. Parking is limited. Carpooling is recommended, if possible. Senator Brian Feldman, Chair of the Education, Energy, and Environment Committee, as well as Delegates Foley, Stewart, and Queen, are confirmed to attend. There is also a turnout commitment of over 350 people from local congregations and partners. We hope to see you there on behalf of UUCC!
