The Rev. Anthony Jenkins and Jean Joklik will co-lead a full day meditation retreat for twenty three people on Saturday, March 23. Inspired by TS Eliot’s words “between melting and freezing, the soul’s sap quivers,” we will gather for a spring tune-up in three parts: from frozen, to melting and then rising as vapor. In each part, there will be time for stillness, music, journaling, creative expression, poetry, meditation, reflection, sharing, breaks, and movement.
Drinks, fresh fruit, snacks and lunch are provided (vegan-friendly, gluten-free options) or there are plenty of nearby take-out options. In lieu of a registration fee, we request a gift donation of $23 and/or a donation of non-perishable food items. ALL proceeds and donations will benefit those in need through UUCC’s Minster’s Discretionary Fund and UUCC’s community food pantry.
Space is limited to 23 folks, so register early to reserve your spot at the Equinox Meditation Retreat, March 23: 9:30am – 3:30pm.
