Humanity Matters: Honest Dialogues About Race, Culture, and Class

Join the Howard County Office of Human Rights for an interactive, five-session workshop series that explores the impact of race, culture, and class in Howard County.

Participants will learn to authentically interact with people from different races and cultures through the sharing of dialogue, historical and socio-economic data, and effective communication skills.

Session Dates : Online or In-Person Option

Participants should commit to attend all five sessions.

  • Saturday, August 22nd 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm (Online only)
  • Tuesday, August 25th 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm (Online or In-Person)
  • Tuesday, September 1st 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm (Online or In-Person)
  • Tuesday, September 15th 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm (Online or In-Person)
  • Tuesday, September 22nd 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm (Online only)

For the in-person sessions (locations TBA), physical distancing protocols will be observed and face coverings are required.

Enrollment will be capped at 100 participants.
