Those that are interested in getting trained in the newer UUA Mosaic curriculum, which centers collective liberation, are gathering as they get trained to bring Mosaic to UUCC in some form (there are lots of routes we can take). We are currently discussing forming a possible Social Justice Council, and creating an FAQ that covers what we mean when we say things like white supremacy culture, harm, etc. Sometimes we meet at OBIC and other times we meet for lunch somewhere in Columbia.
Current participants: Laurie Coltri, Sara Davidson, Jen Hayashi, and newcomer Richard Gates as of September 2026; newcomers invited; just chat with one of us if you’re curious/interested in anti-racism and anti-oppression work at UUCC and beyond
