Are you a single person over 50ish interested in a support group that openly discusses and learns from each other about the evolving life and emotional challenges of aging, such as partial or full retirement, health matters, family concerns, staying connected, maintaining energy, mobility, and independence, etc.? There’s the new… UU Senior Singles Support Group (SSSG)
Beginning in February, SSSG will meet the first and third Mondays, from 1-3pm and the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, from 7-9pm.
The Monday day-time meetings will be held at Owen Brown Interfaith Center (OBIC) Conference Room 150.
The Wednesday evening meetings will be held at OBIC Music Room 170.
The group will be facilitated by UU Member, Mark Gorkin, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (also a senior and self-proclaimed Motivational Psychohumorist ™, author of Practice Safe Stress, The Four Faces of Anger, and Preserving Human Touch in a Hi-Tech World).
