Join UU the Vote for an afternoon screening of “Bending the Arc: The Vote”, a powerful, well-produced account of the prominent role the Unitarian Universalist Church of Birmingham played in the the Alabama voting rights struggles.

After the film, UUCC Member Jill Christianson will lead a discussion. Then, in the interest of combining learning with doing, we will be preparing letters to voters in communities typically underrepresented in the electorate, encouraging them to participate in the democratic process by voting in this year’s Midterm Elections. Join us for what promises to be an inspiring afternoon!
