Chair Yoga

Let’s move and stretch and breathe together in a 30-minute chair yoga class on Thursdays at 10 am with Nancy Kochuk, RYT 500.

We’ll pay attention to the breath as we try out some seated poses (gentle bends and twists) and standing poses (using the back of the chair as a prop for balance). You can do whatever parts of the practice are appropriate for you.

All you need is a sturdy chair and an open mind. (Suggestion: If your feet don’t touch the ground when you’re seated, have a few books nearby that you can place underneath your feet.)

Nancy has been teaching yoga classes for 15 years. All of her classes (at local studios and for community groups) are now being taught online.
