Worship Service

Longtime UUCC member Karl Branting will lead a service that contemplates emotional intelligence through the lens of social psychology research showing how we unconsciously maintain “moral credit balances” with each other, with the universe, and (for believers) with God. The talk explores the destructive emotions can arise from actual or perceived imbalances in moral accounts, what happens when moral accounting is between groups, and why forgiveness is so essential for happiness.
