Worship Service: For What Am I Responsible?

The Rev. Paige Getty will lead a service that explores the concept of responsibility, and how we act courageously in recognizing and living into our responsibilities, especially our responsibility for the brokenness of our world. (Inspired in part by Ta-Nehisi Coates’ book Between the World and Me, in which the author writes to his son, “All of this is common to black people. And all of this is old for black people. No one is held responsible.” No one is held responsible.) After services on this day, we will encourage individuals to join listening circles as part of #UUWhiteSupremacyTeachin2.
