The Rev. Anthony Jenkins will lead a service centered in the story of Puerto Rico’s 65th Infantry Regiment (The Borinqueneers) – the only all-Hispanic unit in the history of the U.S. Army. Together we’ll consider some of the many honorable battles they fought both overseas and at home for the United States (without statehood) – while exemplifying a commonwealth of bravery that transcended racism, nationalism, language, faith tradition, and all other borders.
