This year, our Middle School students (grades 6 & 7) will start the year with a book group using This Book Is Antiracist: 20 Lessons on How to Wake Up, Take Action, and Do the Work by Tiffany Jewell. This book gives tweens and teens the background information and language to understand how racism was created, how it continues to work, and why it’s important to fight against it.
If you don’t already own the book, let Robin know – she has extras and can drop one off. Or when you register you can order a copy through our UUCC bookstore for $11, including delivery to your door!
