It was another year of perfect weather for Howard County Pride on Sunday, October 13, which means we had the pleasure of seeing so many beautiful people out and about.
We are grateful to have had so many community members stop by our booth to chat, contribute to our “imagine a religion” board with a personal value, and/or select a handmade heart to take home.
THANK YOU to the many people who contributed to Pride this year, with an extra thank you to UUCC congregant Jen Hayashi for helping us lug our supplies to Pride early in the morning and then back to OBIC at the end of the day. Another special thank you to everybody that helped staff our booth and all who painted heart ornaments and magnets which were gifted to community members that stopped by our booth.
Being in community matters and showing up for community matters. Queerness matters! Happy Pride, beloveds. 🌈
