Introducing Our Interim Music Director

We are delighted to announce that Bailey Whiteman (she/they) will join the UUCC staff as Interim Music Director on July 16, 2026. As Interim Music Director, Bailey will be directing the choir, coordinating and providing music for our Sunday services, and helping the congregation to consider what is important in congregational music going forward.

Bailey comes to us with more than 15 years of experience as a UU music and choral director, most recently having served as Interim Music Director at our sibling congregation in Silver Spring, MD. Bailey, an active lay leader before she became a religious professional, is deeply rooted in our UU movement and values, bringing valuable perspective and experience to this transitional period at UUCC. Please join us in extending a heartfelt welcome to Bailey when she arrives.
