Islamic Guests on May 20th-World Religions

Hello Parents,

We’ll have guests with the World Religions class on May 20th! I hope all of you will plan to attend. Parents and students will visit, to talk about what it’s like growing up Muslim, and will bring prayer rugs and other items they use in practicing their faith tradition. Students may even recite part of the Quran.

Because Ramadan starts in May, everyone I contacted asked us to hold a visit off until after Ramadan. They would like us to share food with them. So please stay tuned for an announcement to come about a visit in June to a mosque!
