UUCC is a LGBTQIA+ Welcoming Congregation
All of who you are is sacred.
All of who you are is welcome.
In addition to the strong positions of support for LGBTQIA+ concerns from the national Unitarian Universalist denomination, UUCC has a vibrant LGBTQIA+ community that participates actively in all aspects of the life of the congregation. You are invited to experience this inclusive spiritual community in Columbia, MD.
LGBTQIA+ Affinity Group
UUCC’s LGBTQIA+ affinity group is a newer effort to provide opportunities for our LGBTQIA+ community members at UUCC to connect and have fun. Your laid-back and fun ideas and help with planning some gatherings are welcome!

UUCC and our Owen Brown Interfaith Center co-owner, Christ United Methodist Church, have long-sponsored space for PFLAG — the extended family of the LGBTQIA+ community. The mission of PFLAG Columbia-Howard County is to support parents and caregivers of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer children. The group welcomes all people — gay, straight, bisexual, transgender, and queer — as well as their families and friends. Together, we support each other, educate the broader community, and advocate for equality.
