Join us on May 21 & 22 for the Group Relations Workshop!

We have started working with our facilitator team, Brian Bloch and Will Tansey, to design the May 21-22 Group Relations Workshop (GRW). As part of this effort, Brian and Will want to better understand our congregation. Over the next few weeks, they will be reaching out to a cross section of members, friends, and staff to get to know us better. If you get a request to Zoom with them, we hope you’ll say “yes!”

We are holding this Workshop to help improve relationships within and throughout the UUCC community. We have all faced isolation and disconnection due to COVID. We also want to rebuild relationships and trust that may have been lost through difficult social media interactions and other issues identified by the Trust & Reconciliation Committee (TRC).

The facilitators will be designing the Workshop using the Appreciative Inquiry** approach which will focus on where we want to go next as a congregation. Everyone who is interested in how we act and move forward as a community of faith is invited and encouraged to attend

We are extremely pleased with the expertise, experience, and approach that Brian and Will offer, and we hope that after you meet them, you will be excited to participate, too.

Please mark your calendars for May 21 and 22!

** Appreciative Inquiry is both a meaningful and enjoyable process, so your time will be well spent. We’ll provide more information about Appreciative Inquiry in a future post.
