On Thanksgiving Day, meet up with myself (UUCC congregant Jill Cairns) and my family in the parking lot of OBIC between 8:15-8:30AM to carpool (number of cars depending on number of people who show up) to the Windsor Hills Neighborhood of Baltimore City to pick up trash for approximately 1.5 hours to return no later than 11AM.
My family and I use to live in this neighborhood and whenever we are in Maryland for Thanksgiving, we spend our morning in engaged in several hours of service to our former community. We usually pick up around 8-15 bags of trash and recycling.
The neighborhood borders on Gwynns Falls, so there is a direct impact to waterways in picking up the trash.
