If you care about climate and justice, and don’t have much time, try a climate justice micro-action! We will offer a variety of one-time, bite-sized actions you can take quickly, and then move on with daily life.
Fight election depression with a micro-action
Newcomers and longtime congregants alike are invite to join UUCC’s climate team’s third micro-action on Sunday, December 8 after the worship service. This month we can make a difference together and help Howard County move away from fossil fuel to cleaner technologies.
We’ll give a 5 minute overview of Electrify HoCo, then participants will write 1 postcard to Calvin Ball and 1 postcard to the county council to support HoCo building codes that will make our future cleaner, greener, and healthier. If you have time, stay and learn more about how implementing electric appliances in buildings is safer, cheaper, and better for the environment.
We’ll meet downstairs in the music room (#170) at 11:30AM. Have your coffee and then head on down!
