“Switch to solar ☀️ by opting in with BGE!” Bring your electric bill on 🗓️ Sundays, February 1 or 8 🗓️ and you can switch to solar in 15 minutes.
On Sundays, February 1 and February 8, we will focus on switching our home energy source from fossil fuel to solar energy. This is the single biggest impact (and the easiest) thing you can do for the climate right now.
Our partner, Neighborhood Sun, will be here on both dates after the 10AM worship services in room 213 upstairs at the Owen Brown Interfaith Center. Come for a short presentation and then, if you want, help signing up. Bring your questions and your most recent electric bill. Bringing your own device would be really helpful, too.
Truly a fantastic micro-action with macro results that help the environment, our community, our congregation (UUCC receives $100 for every subscription), and your pocketbook (you save at least 10%). For full details, visit this webpage. To sign up earlier, use the UUCC portal. For questions, contact UUCC member Robin Hessey: rmhessey@gmail.com.
