This past Sunday our Spirit Play children heard the story of “And Tango Makes Three”, a lovely story about two penguins who make an unusual family. If you aren’t familiar with the story, borrow it from the library and reread it with your family. It’s a true story about penguins in the Central Park Zoo! And see if your child is able to retell the story!
This coming Sunday, October 20th, the Spirit Play kids will be packing food bags for Cradlerock Elementary school. In previous years we’ve packed for 50 or so children. This year, we’re feeding 80 children! That’s lots of packing and heavy lifting! We ask parents to please join us for class when the Kindergarten and 1st grade children pack, as many of them aren’t reading yet and don’t quite have the muscles to lift the heavy bags. We hope you will join us for this class!
