Free Little Pantry Update & Thank You to Ted Nolan

When you pass by the Little Free Pantry as you enter OBIC, be sure to take a look at its new lower box. UUCC member, Ted Nolan, rebuilt and repainted it recently. (See photo). The pantry and produce bin (large white box near the walking path) serve 100s of people weekly (best guess as we don’t count). They repeatedly thank UUCC for helping to feed their children, families, and/or themselves.

It’s your contributions that make this possible. Thank you to those who have been making cash and pantry contributions. Monetary donations, one-time or recurring, can be made on Realm. Use this link——and select “food insecurity” from the drop-down menu to give what you can. Pantry contributions we particularly need at this time include:

  • breakfast bars
  • canned fruit / fruit cups
  • shelf stable milk
  • canned meat

You may place your items directly into the pantry, or in the red wagon located just outside of the UUCC staff office downstairs at OBIC. Glass containers can be hazardous; please avoid items made of glass. Thank you!
