Sean came to UUCC after a long career in non-profit management focused on the performing arts. An unabashed lover of opera and theatre, he was most recently the Human Resources Manager at Olney Theatre Center. He gets to the theatre whenever he can and often views the comings and goings of the world thru a “dramatic” lens.
Sean officially became a UU more than 10 years ago when he started to connect with the UU community in Fort Myers, Florida and quickly realized that Unitiarian Universalism gave voice and structure to the many beliefs that he held. He served in a variety of lay leadership positions at his original home church, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Fort Myers (UUCFM) and is eternally grateful to the Rev. Allison Farnum for her guidance in forming his faith. After moving to Maryland in 2017, he and his family joined Cedar Lane Unitarian Universalist Church in Bethesda where he still attends service when not at UUCC.
Sean is the step-father to two young men, Daniel and Nicolas. He is an avid photographer, home brewer, occasional sailor, full-time fan of the path less taken, and eternal tinkerer who is grateful for the opportunity to serve the UUCC community.
