As of May 10, UUCC congregants have made 178 pledges (just five fewer than this time last year) and we are 85% to our goal of $700,000. Together, we have pledged $591,659 to support the work of UUCC in the upcoming 2024-2025 fiscal year. Thank you to all who have connected with us this pledge season and made a pledge, no matter the size.
We must wrap up this year’s pledge drive for planning purposes, and also need to make an offer to our new interim minister by Wednesday, May 15. So if you plan to pledge and haven’t, it’s now critical to submit your pledge. We are finalizing UUCC’s budget for the upcoming fiscal year—which will be voted on at the June 2nd Annual Meeting—and we need to know what we have in pledge funds to do that. We are currently still a sizable 15% away from our dollar goal, and so our pledge callers will continue to reach out to UUCC members that have yet to pledge to say hello, check-in, and offer a reminder to pledge. UUCC, our collective support and shared sense of responsibility is critical to ensuring our ability to secure an interim minister, position UUCC to attract the best possible settled minister, continue the outstanding support of our devoted staff, and enable all the great things that our congregants do to strengthen our community.
