👋 Our congregation is looking forward to welcoming a settled minister in fall 2027, and we need your input. The Ministerial Search Committee invites you to share your voice and experience of our congregation by completing a congregational survey.
We know, we know! Who among us is thrilled when asked to do a survey? Here’s why we’re encouraging as large a response as we can possibly get:
- 🌻 Once responses are gathered, we can share with our ministerial candidates a current depiction of who we are as their potential congregation.
- 🌿 Ministerial candidates can more accurately determine if they might be a good fit for us and what themes, issues and concerns they’d be taking on.
- ☀️ Your voice, your passions, your desires for the future of our experience of UUCC will be represented in the candidate selection and interview process
- 💫 We will all benefit from updating and articulating the concerns and dreams for our congregational life.
- 💛 Because we’re asking nicely and we are committed to representing us well and attracting the best candidates!

Greetings, members of the Committee. Here are a few thoughts I did not share when I completed the survey.
1) thank you for investing so much time and brainpower to this critical endeavor. Perhaps a separate blast email to the congregation will enlist even more respondents. If already in your action plan, please ignore this comment.
2) please make available to the congregation summary themes derived from the survey. If already in your action plan, please ignore this comment.
Thank you!

Thank you for your work. I encourage you to make paper copies of the survey available. Doing an online version only is a form of exclusion.
