Curiously Pluralistic

Curiously Pluralistic

Unitarian Universalism is a pluralistic religious tradition, and pluralism is one of the six shared values named in the proposed revision of the UUA’s Article II*. In this worship service, Rev. Paige Getty will explore what it means to actively celebrate “that we are all sacred beings, diverse in culture, experience, and theology.”
*Members of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations are currently reviewing revisions to the UUA’s statements of purpose and covenant (aka “Article II,” because these statements are part of the by-laws). At its annual meeting in June 2024, delegates to the UUA’s General Assembly will vote on these revisions. At the heart of the revisions is a statement of six inseparable shared values — with Love at their center — each of which we will explore in UUCC worship services between February and May.
