Values of Raggedy Ann

Values of Raggedy Ann

As adults who believe strongly that so-called “children’s” stories aren’t just for children, Rev. Paige Getty, Kelli Danaker, and Becky Reese—who was the winner of the 2022 sermon raffle at the UUCC auction—will share excerpts and lessons from Johnny Gruelle’s Raggedy Ann and Andy stories that model living the values of love, kindness, honesty, generosity, caring, and helpfulness. Everyone, of every age, is welcome in this interactive, multi-generational worship service.

I live in Houston, Texas. About 2 years ago I met Nancy Krauss who has a home in Maryland but recently has spent time with her sons, one lives in South Carolina and one in Houston. In our conversations she has shared her experiences in UUCC with me and recently introduced me to your community. I just finished listening to your Feb 26 service. Awesome. I will continue to reach out to you from afar. Joyce Urban

Joyce! Thank you for sharing. Our services are offered both in-person and on Zoom each Sunday at 10am ET if you’d like to join us virtually… or with the time zone issue it may be best for you to continue to check out the service recordings which are available each week usually by Tuesday. In any case, it’s nice to hear from you!
