Summertime Sundays are around the corner!

Summertime Sundays are around the corner!

For the month of July, UUCC will join other congregations in the DC metro area in a UU July Worship Series: Preaching Along the Potomac. Gather at the Owen Brown Interfaith Center at 10am on Sunday mornings, as usual, for coffee and donuts, group activities for all ages, and time for connecting with one another on the patio or in Sanctuary B. Worship will begin at 10:30am.

In Sanctuary C, we’ll view live worship streamed from a sibling congregation. (Also streamed via our UUCC Worship Zoom room for those who choose not to gather in-person at OBIC.)

Don’t miss the opportunity to share a series of worship services led by UU leaders from five different congregations, all while enjoying the company of members of your own home congregation!

☀️ Summertime Sundays Schedule ☀️

July 3 — “The Speed of Justice”
Rev. Rob Keithan
, All Souls Church, Unitarian (Washington, DC)

There’s so much suffering and injustice in our world that urgent action is desperately necessary. At the same time, moving too fast makes it more likely that we’re unconsciously replicating some of the oppressive patterns that we’re trying to stop. How can we ensure that our work isn’t just transactional, but truly transformational?
