Sunday: Car Wash AND Meeting!

Dear Quest families –

It’s (one of the) busiest time(s) of the year! May is a busy month with lots of exciting things happening. For the Quest class, this Sunday, May 6 has two things on the schedule.

First of all we are holding UUCC’s first youth Car Wash fundraiser! We will be washing cars during both services on Sunday morning for donations to help fund our trip to War, WV (more details coming very soon!). We need any youth that are available to show up ready to wash! We’ll provide soap and sponges and water and all that sort of thing. We have a few adults lined up to help move cars for congregants, but if a Quest parent can help for all or part of the time, that would be wonderful! We will also need a youth or two to help label car keys and keep them organized.

Second of all, Quest class WILL also meet Sunday evening, May 6, from 5:00 to 7:00. We will not be in the usual room – we will be downstairs in the Youth Room. It’s a busy and crowded day at OBIC on Sunday, including Unity Sunday service at 4:00. (Parents: I can recommend this!)

And keep an eye on your mailboxes for sign-ups for parent chaperones AND youth attendance at the dress rehearsal and overnight on May 11.
