Check out our past Rapid Response Opportunities for UUCC The Vote:

  • Rev. Ashley Horan, UUA Organizing Strategy Director, put out a call for action after police officers in Kenosha, Wisconsin, shot Jacob Blake seven times in the back.  Get more information.
  • July 10: Email Gov. Hogan about Mail Ballots
  • July 15: UUA Organizing Class
  • July 16: Phone Bank with Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ)

Email Governor Hogan to request he support a mail-in election (to increase turn-out). UULM-MD called this action. Now until July 14.

UUAIt Starts with Faith: Summer Organizing School: Join leading organizers and activists to learn how to use electoral organizing strategies to carry your team to success. We have designed a 6 week organizing school for social justice leaders with all levels of organizing experience. First Session: July 15 at 7 pm EDT.
Phone Bank: UU the Vote and Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ) are partnering to identify and build connections with anti-racist voters in Pennsylvania. We’re phoning white folks in PA to invite them to actively join in the urgent work of racial justice and learn what non-partisan racial justice issues are at play in the election this year. July 16 at 6 pm.

We have lots of opportunities going now, trying to offer variety. Don’t try to do them all! This is a marathon, so pace yourself and only do projects and the pace that energizes you. Thanks for everyone’s support!
