Share Your Thoughts at a Youth Listening Session

Share Your Thoughts at a Youth Listening Session

Calling all kids/teens of UUCC!

The youth are hosting 4 listening sessions during the month of August to gather perspectives and opinions from students of all ages at UUCC… and that includes YOU!

We want to hear your thoughts about what it’s like to a kid/teen at UUCC right now and about three primary initiatives that the Board is focusing on:

  1. Assessing how we as a congregation are living up to our commitment to anti-racism and anti-oppression actions
  2. Fundraising to support a new Head Start program in Long Reach
  3. Launching a reconciliation process to address recent congregational tensions

How do YOU think UUCC should approach these 3 initiatives? Do you agree that these initiatives should be top priority in this moment?

By gathering the perspectives of students of all ages, we hope to unify the student voice at UUCC in order to effect change and influence decisions in the congregation. Our youth leaders will work together to present your thoughts to the Board, because no matter how old you are, you have a voice, and it matters!

Please join (or help your child to join!) the listening session that is designated for your grade level according to this schedule:
